About Janice Wong
(b. 1983, Singapore)

Janice Wong was born in Singapore in 1983. After studying economics at National University of Singapore and graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. She opened “2am: dessertbar” in Singapore in 2007. Wong won the Asia’s Best Pastry Chef award from Restaurant magazine, published by William Reed Business Media, Britain, in 2013 and 2014. Her challenging spirits towards perception and aesthetically designed edible art are highly appreciated and she exhibits her works worldwide including New York and Australia, and has spread her working field to collaborate with high end fashion and cosmetic brands. Wong now has 3 shops in Singapore, one in South Korea and Japan. Known for her food art experiences showcased in exhibitions and larger than life edible wall art, she also paints with acrylic and mixed mediums such as gummy and resin.
